How do I request a Booking?

Fill out the questionnaire on the Booking page, and include all requested details.

Name, email, dates you would like to request your trip, how many anglers will be on the booking, if any anglers are youth ages. Please also include if you are wanting a full day, half day single boat or a full day multi- boat trip.

As the Angler what is expected of me?

Please read all of the outlined Policies below for specific details.

All anglers are required to follow Montana State fishing laws which includes purchasing all the proper licenses for every angler on the trip. Those can be found at

Anglers are also required to dress properly for expected weather conditions for day of booking.

Anglers are expected to communicate with the Outfitter and be on time to the meeting location for every day(s) of the booking.

Where do I stay for my booking?

All trips are centrally located around Craig Montana. There are many local lodgings available as well as tent/rv camping options. There is also many lodging options in Helena & Great Falls Montana the closest large cities.

How do I get around?

Anglers are responsible to find their own means of travel to the meeting location that is predetermined by the Outfitter. If you are flying into any of the regional airports, car rental services are available.

Anglers Expectations and Requirements

All anglers are required by law to purchase and pay all required licenses and fees regulated by Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks prior to the booking date. Purchasing of Fishing license and all required fees must be through Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife & Parks https://fwp.mt.gov/buyandapply/fishinglicenses. These prices and payments are regulated by the State and are separate from Lo Mo Outfitting.

Payment - 80% of fee to be paid at time of booking as a deposit to hold the date, then remaining 20% to be paid day of booking.
- Example: Full Day Single boat trip is $675. At time of booking angler must pay $540 to hold the date. On day of booking angler must pay outfitter remaining $135.

Clothing
- Anglers are required to bring all appropriate clothing for the expected weather. A hat, sunglasses, sun resistant clothing and/or sunscreen, water shoes or closed toed shoes and a light jacket are recommended for each angler.
- Anglers are required to keep track of all personal items. It is recommend that anglers put all personal items in a single duffle bag. Drift boats have limited storage space.

Youth Angler Expectations and Requirements

For safety reasons, we kindly ask that children aged 5 and younger not be brought on your trip. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Youth anglers 12 years old and younger must be accompanied by parent or guardian and are counted as one of the 2 anglers per boat for all trip options.

Per Montana State Boating Regulations (MCA Title 23, Chapter 2, Part 6) youth under 12 years old must wear a U.S. Coast Guard approved life vest at all times with on any boat.

Guides Requirements and Expectations

Full Day Trips, guides will provide lunch, soft drinks, gear etc. for all anglers.
Half Day Trips guide will provide NO MEALS, soft drinks, gear etc. for all anglers.
Outfitter will connect Guide to Angler via text message or phone call for start time and location prior to booking date.

Guides will NOT provide coats, waders or any clothing needed for the trip. It is the responsibility of the client to dress for the proper weather. We recommend you bring a hat, sunglasses, a light coat and close-toed shoes. If you require additional clothing, i.e. waders, rain gear etc., we recommend stopping at one of the shops in Craig or Wolf Creek Montana, before your trip to buy additional items or bring them with you. Clients are responsible for all personal items including sunscreen products, bug spray, medications etc. Please be mindful that a drift boat has limited storage and if you bring any personal items please keep all items in one small to medium sized duffle bag.

Gratuity

We kindly ask you to consider offering a gratuity to your guide, as they have provided excellent service and utilized their expertise to make your trip truly memorable. Standard gratuity for each guide for a half day trip is $150 and $200 for full day trip.

Cancellation Policies

If an angler requests to cancel booking with 2 week notice, 50% of the deposit return.

Full Day Trip return = 337.50
Half Day Trip return = 287.50
Multiple Boat Trip See Multiple Boat Trip Policies
Less than 2 weeks’ notice without a detailed explanation in advance of the booking date, 0% return. To request a refund please email a detailed explanation for the request to the outfitter at matt@lomoouttfitting.com subject line “Refund”. Emails must be sent prior to the booking date in order to be considered. All requested refunds will be considered on a case by case basis and require a discussion via email or phone call with the Outfitter.

No refunds will be given or considered after the booked trip was completed. We have all the confidence in our Guides to give you the best fishing experience and therefore will not consider refunds after the fact.

Weather Cancellation 72 - 24 hour notice – Weather Cancellation can only be determined by the Outfitter. If this were to occur;
- Anglers have the option to roll over to another date determined by Outfitter, at the current rates.
- Anglers have the option of full returned deposit paid at time of booking.

Multiple Boat Trip Policies

Multiple Boat Trip bookings are for parties of 3 or more anglers. For the safety of everyone on board of the boat there can only be 2 anglers per boat.

Multiple Boat Trip bookings are always Full Day (6 – 8 Hour) bookings.
Payment - 80% of fee to be paid at time of booking as a deposit to hold the date, then remaining 20% to be paid day of booking.
Example: Full Day Multiple Boat trip is $675 per boat. For a two-boat trip angler will pay $1,080 at time of booking to hold the date. On the day of the booking the remaining 20% of $270 will be paid to the Outfitter.

Cancellation of Multiple Boat Trip booking.
- If an angler requests to cancel booking with 2- week notice, 50% of the deposit return up to 3 boats.
  - Two boat trip return = $675
  - Three boat trip return = $1012.50
  - Four or more boat trip cancellation will results in no refund.
